Overview

Peeler is an all in one Telegram bot for generating sticker and emoji files from images and videos. Telegram’s @Stickers bot—which is used to create, manage and upload sticker/emoji packs—has very strict requirements for the kinds of files you can upload. For stickers, they need to be less than 512x512 in size (and 512px in width or height), and less than 512kb. For videos, it gets worse—they need to have no sound, encoded into webm format, and less than three seconds. For your average user, this is hard stuff to figure out. So, I created Peeler, which does all the hard work for you. Just drop in a image or video and it does all the heavy lifting, and compresses your file if necessary. There are tons of settings available to customize, such as picking between sticker and emoji mode, automatically removing surrounding whitespace for the perfect crop, setting the aspect mode for how emojis should fit into the 10x100 frame, and more. I’ve also released the ability to move your sticker packs to Peeler, so when you upload an image or video, Peeler will automatically convert and upload your stickers with zero additional work. With these new managed packs, you can also add your friends to manage packs together, something you can’t previously do with the @Stickers bot.
